Problem with OBC - BMW Forum

the light for the left screen is completely out. If you look at it right you can kinda see what it says. Is this a fuse or what? The clock works on the right side of the OBC. Also how do you set the clock? I've tried everything I can think of, and I've had like 5 different people mess with it. Thx.

Light bulb. The unit comes out fairly easy. Slip a feeler gauge or thin knife blade under the bottom edge to release the clip and pull it out. It is friction held only, no clips. I did the same thing last week, but mine was the clock.

I just got a new bulb. I took the old one out and put the new one in. It's the same bulb but it fits like crap. It will go in but it won't turn very far and stays loose while it's in there. I've almost completely stripped the bulb trying to turn it enough to make contact. Any ideas?

I bought some new bulbs off of ebay for pretty cheap. I dont know if they are still on there but I got them for like $3

I got this bulb for like $3.44 from the local stealership. One guy went back and got me some tan bulb. I looked at it funny but was like whatever. So I hung around for a sec to talk to the smart/awesome parts guy, he knows just about everything about BMW partsback to E30s. He was like "I told him that was the wrong bulb." then ganked it from me and got me a black one that really does look exactly the same as the one thats in there. But it dun fit well at all.

Any one know if I could pull out or push in those metal conectors to make for a better fit?
