when putting a perfomance chip do you just replace it with the original or do you have some extr procedures to do i`ve heard something about waiting 20 minutes after you put it
i dont really know i`m thinking of buying a tms chip i want to know if its easy as it seems
in the uk, with the price of petrol over here combined with the congestion in cities (constant stop/starts) it costs me around $40 per 100miles driven.
its not that i'd like to use premium, but i just can afford it!
why can you not use normal fuel anyway?
what price can you expect to pay for how much hp gain?
also are there any negative aspects at all?
my mate put one in his e30 and had non stop trouble, he ended up removing it and said it was a big waste of money.

ahhh poor guys in the UK, they pay like double what canadians pay, and like 2.5times as much as yanks do.. i totally understand why they dont put in premium..
as for the whole chip issue.
once you get the chip you can install it yourself, very easy to do , that is if your car is 92-95.. run the required gas (call or email the supplier of the chip to see what is the proper or minimum gas grade you can use)..
