Power Windows Broken?

It all started one day when I tried to put up my passanger side window. It went up halfway then went all the way down, then would not go back up! To make matters worst it was raining and I was late for work. I quickly took the door panel off saw the motor was fried, removed the motor and and an assembly piece. I put the window back up and have it in place with a zip tie. A fuse was blown so I replaced it. I've been driving around for a few weeks with no window. While waiting to get the money for a new window motor, my drivers side window broke in the up possition. I drive a 95 325 is, and would like to know what the hell is going on.

any noise? if so than maybe it was the window came off the track, if not than maybe the motor has burnt out.

Nope, no noise. The passenger side window definately had a burned up motor, but what would cause both motors to burn up with in a few weeks of one another.

anybody ever got a cheap window motor?

the wrecking yard here can order it for $175 but that seemed really expensive to me...

Yeah, my window is weird. It goes down easy, but it won't go up. It makes a whining noise like the motor is trying to work, just not enough power to get it up. I can use my hand and gently glide it up, but the motor can't do it on it's on.

Is this the motor?

Or the regulator?

I have a kinda same problem. My window glass slips and doesnt go up. It goes up if I let it go up like an inch (I have to push the button like 10 times). I am not sure how to fix this problem. I dont know how to open the door casing to see whats going on inside.

Any suggestions ????
