I was wondering if anyone has ever encountered this problem? My 1992 325i's power window's and sunroof's power is sporadic. The power to them goes on and off as I drive. It's not the fuses - checked those. Sometimes I will drive for 1/2 hour before I get power to the windows? Any suggestions.
Thanks.GL

Thumbs up

I have a similar problem; it takes about 5 minutes after I start up my car before the windows work, then they are 100%!

If I try to use them before they are ready I hear a short sound of them moving down maybe a tenth of an inch, then they stop.

I found the problem!!! It is the "comfort relay" it located under the drivers side dashboard. It took me a while to find it - had to take off the cover under the steering wheel and lay down on the floor to get to it. I ordered a new one from BAVAUTO.com. If you need any more info you can email me at greg.lindsey@us.army.mil
