Hi... nice forum here...

Was hoping to get some insight into the problem i'm having with my '92 318is without taking it to the dealer and getting raped by them

basically passenger side window will only roll up/down an inch at a time... so it takes 10 presses of the window switch to get it up... in addition the sunroof will tilt up but not roll back... very strange... both are tied together somehow...

I checked the switches, they are fine... I checked the comfort relay it appears to be fine... any thoughts or advise on this???

anyone also know where the primary relay for the passenger side window is located? near the comfort relay under the steering column?

many thanks : )

gee i think so , i cant remember, definately sounds like the relay acting up, also think of checking inside the door, the window arms can or could be hung up on something. it will prevent the window from smoothly going up or down, causing the notorious window dance.

your sunroof problem doesnt soud like a relay issue, but more like a track issue if it only goes up and down but not forward and back.
