Power Steering Pump?

Hey!

Ok this is a really weird problem that my cars always had. I've just never got around to fixing it but now im fed up with it.

Basically the car pulls to the left. Its NOT an alignment issue!!!! I know this because I've had my alignment done and at very slow speeds (5km/h or slower) if I just let go of the steering wheel it will turn to the left.

Its as if there is a constant force pulling the steering wheel to the left, and its much easier to turn it left than it is to turn it right.

Now I was thinking that possibly the power steering pump faulty in some way? dirty possibly? I do not think its the steering rack as i've replaced it once and the problems remained the same.

no because the P/S pump wouldnt affect only one side you would feel a significant issue all the time. you sure that your tire pressure is the same? there is a chance that the rack may have a problem, i only suggest taking it to a pro to really give you a diagnosis on what the issue could be. if its not a really big deal maybe you can procrastinate it more and decide when you really want it to be repaired...

its not the tire pressure im sure, and the alignment is definitely fine. Well i did replace the steering rack once and the problem remained exactly the same, so im just guessing that its not that. there could be some suspension component that is really bent or something but can't see anything.

yeah you're right, i might just take it to some hydraulic specialists and see what they say. at the dealership i would have to pay for advice.
