318 DTM is an unknown quantity at this point
Im currently looking at a 1995 318i, and when i test drove it i automatically noticed that it wasnt very fast. I would like to know what are some modifications availabel as far as engine is concerned. THanks

Anything.... intake.. exaust... computer system upgrade.... headers... intake manifold... bigger throttle body... better injectors... underdrive pullys... superchargers.... turbos.... you name it... you could probably do it...

I didnt know they made headers and pulleys for the 318i 4 cylynder engine? Do you know of any sites?

I was being general..... so I'm not exactly sure.. BUT...

Now that I think of it.. you could probably take a E30 M3 header... and modify it to fit the exaust man of a 318.... just might take some work and know how. As for pullys.... you can probably find the demension of your own pullys... then compare them and the ones on a stock M3 or the same year... take what ever the under drive pully kit change... did for the M3.. and change the sizes of the pullys accourdingly.. and just find some pullys your self.

yeah with the right amount of money a 318 can be fast! but they are also pretty good for tracking remmber to think suspension! thats the way to go with a 3 series! they are as much straight line cars as they are autox cars!
