andP0170 Fuel Trim Malfunction (Bank 1)

need help on understanding so can be fixed

Pre- Cat o2 Sensors.......Everything I've searched came up pre-cat o2 sensors,

Before you replace them, make sure your car is well tuned, plugs, air & fuel filters are all up to date........check the MAF Sensor Boot for cracks & vacuum leaks, also clean the MAF Sensor......with a Mass Air Sensor cleaner sold @ most auto parts stores......

when one fails the other one follows shortly this happen to me on my vw jetta i changed one and a month mater the othe one went out on me if its bank one sensor one then its the one that comes from the engine to the muffler/cat
