Please help

I have a 94 E36 convertible, for some reason yesterday the car started acting up... Once the car reaches 20 MPH a flashing light comes on and the car will not pull, I mean it drives but there is hesitation, seems the car those not want to go over 20 MPH. Any one know what this could be.

what light is flashing?? is it an automatic and not wanting to switch gears? could be a bad traction control sensor...

its right above the check engine light, looks like a triangle with some kind of circle in it. the car is a stick.

thats your traction control light... try turning off traction control and driving it... it could be limiting your throttle because of a bad sensor...
