what is the rest of the scanner data you have?
O2 sensor voltage?
color of electrodes of spark plugs?
corroded terminals at MAF &/or TPS connectors. or main connector at engine harness.
*TPS voltage be checked by measuring voltage at varied pedal positions.. increase in voltage directly proportional to increased pedal position
*MAF airflow voltage should also vary upwards with pedal position change
*02 sensor voltage should also play between 250mv to 800mv at idle.
... if both are acting erratically... and u have access to a spare, try a different ECU ;-)
... check also CAT-could be partially closed!(always happens. bimmer weakness)
