pipe creaked

Hi. I just bought a 316i 1996 bmw. The car over heats very fast. I noticed a crack in pipe and a small hose broke off but dont know what its called and how to replace. any help would be great

You may wanna be prepared to replace everything around that hose and pipe.

if your overheating you got two problems that is not coolant it looks like oil or power steering if your overheating change thermostat if not do radiator go to autzone and take the pipe they can match it that is not the source of your overheating problem

If you take it to a good auto parts store, they should be able to match up the correct new part.

MAF Sensor^^^........ I hope you are joking...........looks to be a coolant transfer pipe.....probably a BMW dealer part only.....click on link it's below clamp #7

my maf slides into a piece just like that off the intake came with my intake i have no clueee

yeah looks a lot like a coolant piece I had to help replace on a vr6 gti. Is that part numbered though?
