Anyone suggest the better one out of these three??? They are all around $250..
-Bavarian Autosport Performance Chip
-Confortti Chip
-Dinan
Im leaning twords Dinan, but confortti claims to have the highest HP gain and Bav auto claims they are the best overall throughout all RPMs..
I basically want to hear from you fine people who have these chips and your testimonials. I'd rather decide on that than fancy advertisement claims..THANKS!
I have conforti and love it. Just make sure you have a CAI to go with the chip

The question is, what are you looking for from a chip upgrade; max BHP, or torque, overall area under the curve, etc...
It is true that these chips work better with the aid of Cold Air Intake and exhaust mods, and of course premium fuel. (Which your BMW wants even with a stock chip...)
I do not have any of the aftermarket chips on my 325i, that will happen next spring I hope.
I have the Dinan chip. From my experiences, the dinan chip is a lot better in the higher rpm range but the JC chip is better for regular driving...like the mid rpm range. And a Ram intake works pretty well with a chip also.
93 octane is common where im from..Sunoco even has a 94 octane
On ebay there are tons of chips and intakes..chips for like 75 and intakes for 50..seems like they are all a piece of junk tho.. but what makes the 300 dollar intakes worth paying that much..
but i dont like beatin on my car reving up to 6k every shift. Normally i;d shift at 4K so the confortti seems to be better for me at lower to mid RPM performance
I agree with 93 325i... i dont like revvin up to 6 for eveyr chip so the confortti seems like the logical choice.... but the price tho :-s
I was actually lookin @ the chips on ebay... and wondering why those are $50 vs the confortti which is about $250... Do the chips on ebay not do what they claim??? I once read a post from one of the members who bought an ebay chip and said that it was badass.... any truth to this or was it all his imagination (no offence)
Anyhow..... i'd like to get a good chip and CAI.. but not looking to spend the $500+ for it ... any suggestions?
I think they are that cheap on ebay because guy's from junk yards pull them from trashed bmw's. I actually got mine used from a friend and I like it a lot.
