Performance Chip Proplems

I've been wanting to get a performance chip for a little while now, but i was wondering if anybody has had ANY problems whatsoever with their car and or the chips after they have installed them (ebay knockoffs not included).

I have the Jim C. Shark Injector... and I havnt had any problems...

The only problem that I've even remotely heard of was with a guy who had an Automatic... and at some point he red lined all the gears.. (knowing the red line was changed from 6800 to 7000...) .. his car got confussed between wanting to induce the rev limiter and allowing it to keep producing power... this only happend to him once..

you'll have problems if you don't put 91 octane in it.

thats all u put.... i'll drive an extra 5 miles to get 94 octane... which is RARE in NY!!

most chips are for 91 and up octane, i run usually 91, but on the occasion i get to a sunoco i get the 94 (im in toronto btw)
