Is This Performance Chip Any Good?

Is the Dinan performance chip any good? Made for 1993-1995 BMW, E36, E34, 325, 525. I have a 1995 325is, so will this work for my car?

It says:
AN ADDITIONAL 20HP & 22LB/TORQUE, PLUS RAISE YOUR REV LIMITER +400(7000).

Should it also remove the speed limiter?

dinan eh? well I got one ... same stuff plus 20hp + 22tq etc. I don't have a dyno etc. but once I got it in it made a pretty noticeble gain. accelerates up and up no hesitating etc. I got mine for $145.00 ......I have it installed in my 94 325is 5speed. want it? $100.00

TMS chip is better than Dinan. Ebay copies are hit or miss. Sometimes they work, and sometimes you get a bad one.

i want to see someones dyno charts, because i just cant believe those numbers.. even what tms say. i have a TMS custom chip and i notice a difference but not what they claim

Sorry man, i just check on mine, that stinks, my is a 325is-2 (whatever the -2 part means) 02/95. Sorry, won't work with mine either.

About these TMS chips, what all can you tell me about them? I have been to this site and read some, but i don't really understand most of it: http://www.turnermotorsport.com/html/subca...34&subcat_id=74. I read where is says something about 325 e36 models at the bottom, but i cannot tell if that chip only works with the m3 camshaft or what? Also is this the cheapest i can find one ($350?)? If so what are the differences between the dinan chip and the tms chip other than prices? Thanx in advanced all!

I was thinking of getting a Conforti chip sometime down the road...what's the difference between conforti and the tms chips? It says that the tms's were tuned by conforti...

its the same chip. Its name is the Conforti chip. TMS makes it.

Turner Motorsports has a few good ones.. for pretty much all makes and models... Dinan is good... I'd stay with TMS... Conforti is a great chip... probably the best out there right now... and I think AA Tuning has a chip... not really sure though....

Thats just the main ones.. I dont know of much side market stuff...

95 should be the OBD-I system.... I'm pretty sure www.turnermotorsports.com sells them by the year... but if they are selling them by production date... go here to find....
