Performance Chip?

[Street Sweeper]

I just bought a 93 318is yesterday for my daily driver.
This is my first BMW, so I don't know to much about them.
I was wondering if there were "Performance Chips" out their
for my car. If so, what is a nice one? Which would you recommend?
Are these "chips" a plug n play?

I've tried searching but I cant find anything. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place.
Any websites or specs for these chips?

they make the conforti chip. It has shown the most gains than any of the others.
