ive been looking up performance parts like chips, CAIs, and a few exhausts...
i saw that the conforti chips add about 19 hp and 19 lb of torque.
does anyone know what the CAIs and exhausts add to the cars performance?
and how will these effect the 0-60 and 1/4 mi times and the top speed? (does anyone have specific data in the decrease of the times and increase in speed?)

Ah, I will tell you that the UUC System U exhaust claims to shave .45 seconds off your 1/4 mile. Although that sounds pretty amazing, it wouldn't surprise me if it actually did. It's the highest rated exhaust on most sites, and it does sound beautiful. CAI (conforti) sounds great, but the power gains are negligable. Maybe 5 hp at most, it's more of a sound/psychological thing over a real power increaser. I'm injecting my car next week so I'll tell ya how it turns out.
hey
if you go to the TMS website they show a dyno graph for increase with just the confronti chip and with the chip + their CAI.
The latter increase is almost double , meaning if you get both you will double the increase. Not sure, as of now I have only sharked the car...the confronti CAI doesnt seem the be the true CAI , as in doesnt go down to the fender so not sure yet.
good luck

thats wha i thought...was jus checking.
what do you guys think about the JC CAI , cuz like you have seen the dyno chart shows significant increase if you get their CAI too...although one could argue its not a true CAI as it does not extend to the front fender...
comments ?
