Parts For Converting To M3

I was wondering if anyone could help me with suggestions and parts to convert my 318is to a m3. Right now im getting ready to redue the interior so i need some m3 interior parts(seats, woodtrim,etc.)

Also if anyone has some nice pics of there red e36 i would appreictae it if you would post those to give me some ideas

Any ideas on how to increase low end torque.
I have a 93 318is automatic and it feels like when you floor it no power is going to the car and then at 2000 rpm it takes off a little but feels like it is holding back

i'll say the one thing you dont want to hear. sell the 318 and pick up a 325. With the money it will take to convert the 318 would be thousands

i got my 95 325is for 7 and it has 120k on it... so i mean just look around and be picky. good luck man

I'll tell you what dozens of others on this board will tell you as well. If your car is not an M car, and doesn't have an M engine, don't try to make it a fake M3.

Due to your car being a 4 cylinder you would have to do a lot more work to it, to make it an M3, than the inline 6 323's,325's, and 328's etc..

yea i wasnt going to convert the whole car, i fiqured since i need new interior and if i found a good deal i was going to buy it and i was going to paint the bottom trim on my car
just needed to know where i could find some black seats

the only thing that an m3 has on the interior thats different is....

speedo, OBC, and seats... and door panels...

all e36 are pretty much all the same!! other then slight body difference's.. and the engine OFCOURSE!

Also E36 318 and 325 are not that much different in price....a 318 would be $500 to $1000 less than a 325 of the same specs....

Also if you want M3 performance from a 318is pay $300-$500 get an Atlanta Downing Supercharger installed!!!
(google it to find it)...you'll get a huge increase in HP that is on par with the M3 and will dust a 325/328 E36...Plus it is simple, quick and easy to install!!

However, this mod will your decrease car's lifespan by alot, void all warranties, and possibly create unwanted side effects and problems to you engine's component .

how big is the engine in an m3? I dunno i was always more of an e39 fan :P Does no other country in the world have the 320i e36's or smtin? they're 6cyl but no1 ever seems to mention them! oh nd i think most people get a 318 rather than a 325 or 328 is coz of the fuel economy not the buying price!

I think most countries got the 320i. They just never made it to the US market. People here are obsessed with unnecessarily large engines.

haha i know, u nd ur muscle cars! but here ppl like the big V8's too though, but not chevy's or dodges but holdens (opel, vaxul) and fords.... Australian! anyway back 2 bimmers.

The M3 has other suspension, brakes, wishbones, drivetrain, gearbox and diff too. It's a hell of a job to change everything.
