95 318is....i checked the DIY and it was to take the bulb out and put a piece of electrical tape over one of the bumps which disengages the lights, but goes on when u put ur turn singal on.i did this and the best i could get was the light to be off but it wouldnt go on when i put my signal on. now i took the tape off cuz i couldnt figure it out, and now my sidemarkers and my tailights blink really fast while my corners just stay iluminated. what happend?!?! sum1 please help me!
yeh i tried both and neither worked. now i dont hav anything on them and now my right tailights and sidemarkers blink really fast while the front corner is jsut illuminated
try a diffrent bulb or be sure its in right and making good contact with what is there. fast blinking usualy means a blub is out or not working properly.
just turn your signals on and rotate the bulb you were working with earlier around a little bit, should be able to get it back to normal blinking speed just by rotating the connection a little bit.
i moved the bulb i tried the delete on to teh otehr side and it does the same thing on that side. but whatever side the bulb i didnt try the delete on makes everythign work fine. i want to try it on the normal bulb but im afraid ill mess that one up as well.
ok so i tried the other bulb and i got that one to work!!! so one side is fine, blinks at the normal rate..but the other side doesnt work and blinks very fast. guess i gotta get a new bulb?
