I noticed that when my rims (normally a bright aluminum color) are dirty they look very good with my car color, is it possible to actually paint the rims a dark grey or gunmetal color and have it look nice and be as good quality as the original?
Has anyone tried this and have before/after pics, or have any helpful advice/links? =\
Thanks in advance everyone!

Hey man, I have a place in CDA that does awesome work Phrozen. 20-40 bucks a rim depending on the color. And if you schedule it, they can do it all in one day. Should take a trip to Spokane and I'll get you in touch with the place.

Powder coating is what it sounds like it is not a liquid paint but a powder. I think gunmetal looks good, although with painted rims i really like the polished lip and the darker center. You should check that out, it looks great.
