I didn't take pics while i was doing the beggining steps, but I have this so far, I took out my grill and removed the chrom part, wetsanded it, primered, wet sanded, painted black....I have yet to put the clear coat on it, for I need to pick up a can .....but here is is so far

Looks good man. I thought about doing the same but opted for the kit just in case I changed my mind or needed to change back for some reason.

I know what you mean, I kept debating.....and if this doesn't turn out how I would like it, I can always go to a shop and get them profesionally painted, or just buy the ones like you got.
