| P0306 Cyl #6 Misfire,,,,but no misfire???
Ok this is a real puzzle,,my 97 328i,,149,000 miles,,super clean engine runs great,,with a K/N filter,had it in there for about 45,000 miles,,just been cleaned and re-oiled,,,but removed it,after all of the following,,in the last year started gettin this code intermittently,,only when below freezing,,or if the car had been sitting over 24 hours,,so i removed plug,,put in new one,,changed out the boot,,and swapped coil 6 with 5,,,also cleaned the K/N,,heard it can mess with MAF,,,,so i cleaned it, the MAF,with sloshing it in a bag filled with 91% Alcohol,,,was still getting codes,,,and a real misfire,,,so after all this i took out the K/N,,,,and put in A Mann OEM Paper filter,,,,that was 4 days ago,,have had 2 P0306 Cyl. 6 misfires,,,but that cylinder is not misfiring,,engine does not change or idle rough,,like it should with the real misfire,,it would shake before,,from the imbalance of not firing.....any help here would be great.....
