Over heating 318ti need quick answers

My car was running great no problems we used my wife's car over the week end when I went to work on Monday as I pulled into the drive the temp started to move past the half way make usually I can rev the engine and it drops but it didn't. The next day I checked the coolant level in the over flow it had been a while since I did that work all the time su---. It was low. I bled and bled and bled like always. Thought I had it fixed took car for long 15 - 20 min drive. It seemed fine. Next day going to work 10 min drive did it again when I entered drive. Any ideas please help. Thanks

Hmmm Ignoring the expansion tank... How is the state of the actual coolant/oil? I mean, does it seem contaminated?
Also, have a close inspection at the tail-pipe while engine is running (from cold-start), is it steamy/greyish?
