You have to measure the resistance of that sensor with two another outside temperatures. The 2nd measure value (outside temperature a couple of degrees higher) should be different from the first resistance you have read out. When you made a graphic from this, there come into being a straight line. This means the T-sensor is O.K. and then probably the problem is in the obc.

i dont have a sensor....
anyways does the dealer allow me to return the sensor if the problem isnt by the sensor ?
cuz if its not the sensor i dont think i wanna spend more $$ or time fixing it
anyways do they accept returns ? btw dealer has it for 26 bucks
that looks more like the clip for the fog light. If you had a sensor that was disconnnected then the temp probably wouldnt display at all. Look around behind the driver side fog light and you should find it. It looks kind of like an eye-dropper thing.

I think there is supposed to be a metal rod in that yellow piece.

sounds and looks like to me that they did not replace the fender liner extensions and the outside temp sensor. You'll just have to buy them and install them
