Please help! I need to find where the outdoor temperature sensor is located on my 316i Compact (1996).
What I've understood is that the sensor on most models are placed in the air duct from the spoiler to the breaks on the driver side. However this air duct is absolutely free from any sensors on my car. Please help!

it's hard to see it, on mine it's behind the frond bumper, between the driver side tire and the fog lights.

kind of related ; both my ducts fell off ( stupid metal ramp to go into a car park that didn't go down, I reversed and my bumper got stuck and loosensed the ducts)
don't have a computer, so does it make any difference i.e do I need one ?
