Hey guys. We have a new CAI for the E46's, and it apparently comes in E36 fitment, too. We've got it on our website, JleviSW.com, but here are some pictures of it installed on the E46.
It is only $210, which is one third of the real thing.
I'm looking for any E36 non-M to test this out... I can't offer you a deal better than $210, but you can gain fame by posting a review and being the first...
We've already put this intake on an E46 and the quality is astounding.
The filter is K&N, and the carbon fiber weave is amazing.
Anyways, check this thing out and tell me - should we re-order for the E36 or is this something E36 owners don't really care for? used

Yeah sure, I'll install free if you pay for the intake cash
I don't think it fits E34's, but I'd be more than willing to try :
We don't stock the E36 ones, only the E46 for now - but we have the E36's in stock at another secret hideout near here
Ah, Many thanks.
I would love to miraculously "figure out" that this intake fit a bunch of other cars - I have Z4 guys asking if they can come by and "test fit"
I want it, but of course I can't afford it (I need new rotors) and I live on the opposite side of the godamn continent....
Besides, I have a 323is engine so it wont help much at all
I'm a norcal guy, but honestly, $210 isn't gonna fly. If this is as good as it looks, I'd be happy to try it for free (seriously)...your R&D investment in my testing it should pay for itself with increased sales (heck, sell two of them from my positive user feedback and you've made money).

I read a memo from gruppeM sayin that they were to discontinue distributing their intakes to the U.S. as they've had problems with the NA spec cars. I was very interested in odering one from M3motorworks until I read the memo.
Great lookin product, first rate all the way, but I'm just curious if they go that sorted out. I'll see if I can find the memo...

the reason it cost so much is because of 3 reasons.
1-its carbon fibre
2-its gruppeM
3-the R&D that was put into making it.
your paying for the best stand alone intake

I agree w/what you're saying. The poster wants to try it out on an E36 to see how they like it. That's the r&d I'm referring to. Again, maybe it's semantics, but my sense was that the poster wanted feedback from someone and was willing to subsidize the cost of the unit...maybe market research was a more appropriate term than r&d.
