Opinions Needed - BMW Forum

I'm going to be ordering some M3 style side mirrors for my car. Anyways, I was just curious what people thought of the mirrors with CLK amber LEDs in them? I've ALWAYS liked them but not sure if people would think of that as ricer or what not.. anyways here is a pic...

yes, they are nice, but there are some with blue and white led's.. those are nicer than orange

and no, they are not rice at all.. friggen chevy suburbans have mirrors w/turn signals

I like 'em, I just haven't seen any that are very expensive. I know one generally looks for good deals, but as cheap as most of those are, I'm a bit skeptical. The M3 mirror upgrade is about $450, and every set of turnsignals I've seen are like half that. Makes me think they are cheap.

i feel the same way....the are prob pretty cheap quality. Maybe you could look around a junk yard near you every so often, you just might come across some real m3 mirrors

If you are that interested in having a light there when you turn.. why dont you buy the M3 mirrors... or something like that. and fabricate your own... that'd be cool... if not.. dont put those on your car... horrible looking when installed.. IMO.

I ordered just normal m3 mirrors.... no lights in them.

I guess I got here too late. But I saw a set of sport mirrors with LED turn indicators on the BAvauto Winter catalog. I think they would look nice. M3 mirros are cool though. Good choice also.

i don't think they are that bad... i was thinking about getting some bootleg m3 style because the m3's are like 600 bucks!!
