Hello -

I am new to this forum because I am thinking of buying a 318i as a second car.
The car is my neighbour's and he has owned it since new and has looked after it meticoulsy so I know it hasn't been abused - the only thing is that it has 160,000km on it. My last Bimmer was a 6cyl 325is and I think I sold it with close to 400,000km on it and it still felt like it had a few more years left on it.

Are the 318 engines the same way or ???
Anyone out there with high milers that can shed some light ?

thanks -

I'm just under 130, ownded it since 98. Nothing but routine maintainance or crap I broke. Car still pulls very hard for an almost 10 year old 4cyl.
