1995 318i > 1994 318i
safer bet with the 1995 yr. but that 1994 sounds good to me.

also check out these potential trouble spots:
1. rear shock mounts
2. Air Mass meter
3. ALL idle components
4. radiator maintenance
5. Idle pully tensioner

I wish i would have gotten a 325i over my 318ti. Its a good car though. 300,000 is crazy talk. I wouldnt by a car with more than 100,000 miles on it. If you plan on having it for more than a couple years. Thats just my opinion. But 4 grand is a pretty nice deal i guess....

shop around for the front bushings, not too expensive, about $30.00 each. Maybe one hour labour total to replace. Check the outer tie rod ends as well and DEL's list is what we like to call a mandatory check.

Hey DEL can you send me the location of the Idle Pulley Tensioner? 1995 325is auto.

I second what delmarco wrote, and I would strongly encourage looking for a 1995. But if you have your heart set on this one just make sure you get a prepurchase inspection done by some one. It might be free, but even if it's $30-$35 it is money well spent.
