Never got a manual for my car, so I am learning as I go.

Today I learned that if you put gas in your BMW while it's running you will get a Check Engine Light (never a problem with my last car). After taking it to the dealer he expplained this to me and reset the OBD for me (free this time, 1/2 hour labor charge next time).

You can't unscrew your gascap while the engine is running...i think because it affects the vacuum.....it reads as an air leak....

I thought everyone knew not to put gas in the car while the car is running? In some gas stations, you can get in trouble for leaving the car on while pumping gas.

Yes, turning your car off to pump gas in it is actually common sense, no need for a manual to tell you that
