ok, now it's literally falling apart - BMW Forum

Don't ask how, but my front bumper fell off last night as I was taking an exit off of the freeway, no damage to me or anyone else, but it didn't make me happy either.

My friend and I managed to get it back into place and (stupid me) thought it was good as new. So today after buying groceries I drive out of the parking lot into a busy intersection. Yay me, my front bumper hits the ground (keep in mind the lip onto the street had a "speed dip" and my car is lowered) and falls off.

So I feel like a dumbass jumping out of my BMW (bad reputation for those leters now, sorry), grab my bumper, throw it in the back seat, and drive with my door halfway open to a gas station, where I made a 2nd attempt to putting it back on.

Well I made it home with the bumper in one piece, and I won't be needing to drive the car till thursday. What pieces (screws, bolts, latches (i have no clue)) hold a bumper into place. Should I just get these pieces or do I need a new bumper as well (cosmetically it still looks fine). I've got an aftermarket M3 style front bumper and If I do need to get a new one, I would like to know where I can get a good priced one.

Damn I feel stupid (yay me for thinking I'm the best driver in the world), and thanks to anyone who can help.

lolll, ok behind the impact strips there are 4 nuts places that bolts (or nuts i forget) secure the bumper,, beyond that really the only other thing are a few screws that hold the rear of the front bumper to the wheel wells.... oh and dont forget to make sure you have your metal reinforcement bar in place behind the bumper, it will help keep the bumper ridged and also help if you ever have an accident
