Need oil change but i called the dealership and they quoted me 120.00 to get it done, then i called a another place that will do it and they said they would do it for 54.00 plus a new oil filter. then i would have to take it to the dealership to get the light reset for 10.00...
SHould i just take it to the dealership or the other place to do it.? I would do it myself but i have absolutely no time..
thankz

you can do it yourself in the time it takes them to do plus the time it takes for you to get there and back. The filter costs around $7. Call it 20 oil, filter, and tax. Also, if you look in the FAQS, you will learn how to resent the light yourself for free.

Do it yourself. I always have but had it changed when it was getting the bushings done last week. $60 for oil. Thats crazy. You take off 2 screws.
There is also a pump that you put in the dipstick tube and it will actually siphon the oil out without having to get under. I plan on investing in one of those since I can't get under the car easily at my new place.
Suck out the oil, change the filter, put in new oil. Drive away.
