Oil changes!

CrazyBMWNut n00b Join Date: Aug 2004 Car: Posts: 1 Photos:	[SIZE=1] I have just bought a 1997 BMW 318i (my dream come true) and it is time for me to go for my first oil change. What kind of oil should I put in? I am currently set on going for 5W30 SYNTHETIC oil, but the guy from the BMW dealership told me to go for the regular kind, 15W30. What do u guys think about this?

cnd-325i n00b Join Date: Aug 2004 Car: Posts: 5 Photos:	In my 1992 325i with 132,000 miles I am using Mobil One 15w-50 and it has worked great. Go to wal-mart for the best price on Moble One, they sell it in 5 quart bottles
