BMWer is an unknown quantity at this point
Hi all. Just got a 1998 328i with 35000 miles. I would like to start fresh with an oil change. However, I need to purchase the oil filter wrench which appears to be 93mm in diameter with 14 flats (or 15 points depending how u see it). It has a 30mm hex head molded into the filter housing cover. Can anyone help me with where I can get this tool. A part # would also be helpful. Thank you.

Thanks for the responses. The filter housing cover has the 36mm "hex" on top of it. What I am looking for is the oil filter wrench which covers the entire filter housing cover, about 3 3/4in or 93 mm in diameter. Im sure I can use a 36mm socket but it's kinda tight.
