oil !!!

hey there again. i wanna change the gearbox oil and diff oil. can anyone tell me what grade oil i need to use for each and in what quantity. i'm in england so its litres although i can convert it (i'll get my butler who lives in a different wing of the castle do it) . is it easy to do these tasks? many thanks. Sorry but you will have to ask BM the Grades

Diff= 1ltr

Slip diff ( if you have one) = 1ltr

Box = 1.3ltr

Engine = 6.5ltr

Go to Bavauto.com put in year & model, click on tools, manuals, & fluids, then click on oil & lubricants & the link has the specs on each oil grade......or just call them, they will tell you exactly what you need....

Pretty sure it's the same grade for both. 75w-90
And i think you need about 1.5 liters for each.

I am guessing that you have a manual tranny. If so most common manual tranny fluid is not what you want. I recommend redline (not sure if you get it over on your side of the puddle) ATF fluid (yes automatic transmission fluid). If you can't get redline I would consult some one who knows more about brands and fluids for your area.

Also have your butler send me over an English muffin. With jam.

PS. We use liters over here for most fluids in cars, oils, lube, washer fluid...
