ohh crap! quick help!

my sunroof opened and now it wont shut. the motor works fine. i have reason to believe it is the carpeted inner cover thing that has fouled up and is keeping the roof from closing back up all the way

HOW DO I GET IT TO SHUT? the motor wont budge it. its a nice day out today but tomorrow its not going to be. i cant leave it like this. : : :

Well... You can always take the cover off around the button... and manuall twist it...

k i did that. i didnt think i had a hex key thing but i looked this problem up in the bentley manual and found out i have one in my trunk that fits.

why doesnt that liner/carpeted inner piece slide back and forth properly? it would be quite nice to have a working sunroof.

it doesnt wanna move at all if i just tilt the sunroof open. when i open it all the way up it slides back with the metal roof piece but then gets jammed (like this) and wont close back up properly. whats the dealio?
