I am thinking of adding a subwoofer in the trunk of my 325i Cabriolet (E36). Nothing too powerful, just enough to augment the sucky factory bass. Will the subwoofer effect the operation of the trunk installed factory CD changer?
... As I said, if the sub isn't too loud, (like, upwards of like 100 SPL) and the CD deck isn't rattling, you will be fine. Close the little door to the changer deck too so the fluctuations don't enter the reading chamber quite as bad.
Your gonna have to tap into the factory speakers for a signal, unless your head unti has Audio out. Your cd changer will not be effected, before i put in my HU, i tapped the left rear speaker, sounded decent...
