Well, dickey boy has a question?

Had a run in with a milk carton in my trunk. Its been in the 80's out this way for the last few days.

You can do the math and figure out that the trunk smells like an out house door on an old tuna boat.

Other than a can of OUST, a bissel little green machine, and some bleach spray,

HOW DO I GET THAT DEATH SMELL OUT OF MY TRUNK??? ghead

ANy Ideas or products you all might have used?

I know I am going to have to toss the floor carpet, anyone have one for sale?

Find a company in your area that deals with murder/suicide cleanup. Beleive it or not, they are quite common. They should be able to sell you, or at least point you in the right driection, a chemical enzyme that eliminates pretty much any organic fluid and odor.

short of that, go to costco or sams and buy a palette of febreeze, oust, and lysol.

yea totaly! we had my dad's trunk cleaned out by a company that cleaned up crimes - it was a BMW BTW and it was milk! Mom never drove it again!

Spoke to the local restoration experts in town. They said that if the milk got into the fiberboard underneath the felt, there is no way they can get it out. I priced new trunk trim at bavauto for $275. The restoration place said that is pretty close to their cost too, and they couldn't guarantee it.

Guess what my wife's xmas present is? used

Going to gut my trunk tonite and throw all that crap away...


Anyone out there know anyone who has a part's e36 that would 'part' with some trunk (boot) trim?

How much did it cost you all to get the thing cleaned? Did it really work? Why didn't mom drive it any more?

I would the frebreeze 1st. worst case your out the cost of bottle of it. and its not $275. best case it works.
