I could be mistaken but, isnt this my OBD Port? theres one under the hood too... and the second pic is showing that it was made 5/97...??? Yet, it has the OBD I port, becasue I thought OBDII ports were square

Do you have a US model? The rest of the world did not switch over to OBDII until later. Also, are you sure that is a pic of your OBD port? On the first picture, on the left, I see what looks very much like the cover of my OBDII port (with the plastic screw thing). I guess that is a picture from under your steering wheel/that general area, so I won't ask if you took a picture of the right place. Oh. and maybe get us a pic of that OBD port without the cover on. The cover may be round, but perhaps the plug underneath it is not.
