cooling duct on the drivers side... however, my friends 96 m3 has it located on the passenger's side for some reason

led to believe on the right , as said above ; in the brake ducts, althought I drive a 323i '96 my brake ducts fell off, i have no (visual)OBC as '96. so doesn't matter to me

Mine is on passenger side in brake duct--98 328i (canadian version-tho that shouldn't matter).

mine is also on the driver side brake duct. But it doesn't receive any air flow because i cut out the top of the duct and bent it down to get more air into my CAI

Passenger side behidn the fog light for me. Look for a yellow socket with an approximately 2/3 inch needle on it. If you can't find it look behidn the drivers side fog light.

Is your temperature on your OBC reading -35 or -37?

speakin about temperature sensors, does anyone know why my car makes an alarming sound (boing) when the temperature is 37 F?
