Brake Light Failure or Brake Circuit Failure?

I had a brake light failing once in a while and i found out if i pass the wire over the bulb it would apply pressure and the light would work fine.

Very often, corrosion will build up on the metal contacts, where the bulb touches the socket. Try cleaning up around there. Also, have you confirmed that there is a problem with one of your brake lights? If all three of my brake lights work, I don't really pay much attention to what the OBC is telling me.

Good luck!
