OBC Language asterisk

Hi,
Being a new Bloke here, I hope I'm pressing the right buttons so here goes..
I've got a 1997 E36 328i Coupe with the 18 button OBC (unlocked) & would like to know why an asterisk appears after changing the country code. It used to read GB but now it reads GB followed by *. Hmm..

You may want to post this question, if you have not already, in the E36 section under general maintenance and repairs. You will probably get an answer much fast because not everyone checks the Welcome section.

Yup, just checked & a thread seems to be there now (E36),.. Sorry again- I reckon I've been staring at the OBC for too long & need to reset my brain!
