OBC Conversion

Trying to change my 7 button OBC to an 18 button OBC. this possible for my 98 318i? thanks guys

i know there is a write up somewhere on the 11button to the 18.. but requires sooooo much splicing, and re-wireing, it is not suggested!

lots of splicing and stuff, its really a pain in the ass, but if your serious there are good DIY out there.

for guys with 11 button you should have plug and play for the 18button

the 7-18 is lots of work, lots of sensors and what not arent prewired, ill try to find a link for you later.

hi guys in my 320i there are a black and white plug wired up and i have a 11 button obc, will a 18 button obc work if i just plug it in??

yeah i got a white plug at the back of my 11-obc, never knew what it was for. i guess its for the 18 button one? whats so different about the 18 button?

the 18 button has the code feature that immobilise the car so it cant be started and it gives u feul consumtion ect, the list goes on.
