not starting, only cranking

1995 325 IS

symptoms; was running in the driveway, touched door handle, sputtered and stalled.
Not starting, only cranking
disconnected battery for computer reset. no start.. locked/unlocked door with key... no start
Checked the fuses: Fuses 11,12,15,18 have no voltage. Checked OHMS on crankshaft sensor, seems fine, according to the forums.....
checked the fuel pump: No voltage to fuel pump, used battery charger, removed plug and jumpered it. no start.
did a hopscotch with the relays. Jumpered the #1 relay-fuel pump.. positions 30 and 87 still no start
checked the startability with starting fluid:
it fires and dies with starting fluid so the spark is OK.
out of ideas

could this be a faulty crash control module? Is there a reset for this/where is it located?

If it is only cranking you are not getting fuel, no voltage to the fuel pump should give you the inclination that is the problem, that little thing is tied into so many wires its not funny, try that and go from there. when you put the key in the ignition and turn it to ACC you should hear the fuel pump engage. If you do not then that is the problem.

if the fuel pump is bad then the relay is good but there is no power at all....
