Noob Q' about Buttons in a 318i

I wouldn't post this, but i dont have the factory manual and have been trying to google it so i figured ill just ask:

On my 1992 318i what does the button inbetween the two window buttons on the driver side do? ( im talking about the ones to the left of the shifter that is pressed in and out) when i press it nothing seems to happen. Maybe it's broken?

Thanks
derek

Yep, it locks the window buttons so no one can lower the windows but you.

The one to the right of the steering wheel locks all the windows so noone can use them!

The one by the shifter locks the back seat windows so the people in the back cant use them!
