Noise While Turning

My car makes a horrible, horrible noise when I turn the wheel. THe tighter the turn, the worst it is. I feel some vibration that is accompanied with noise when I turn the wheel all the way in either direction. Could this be that I need to put in some power steering fluid? (Hopefully just that) Any ideas?

If not that then when the road is wet...I get the same syptoms & noises. Also check the DIY section...there is a fix for this if its your steering wheel itself...that involves removing you steering wheel and lubing a fw screws...

I am having the same problem but it is somewhat spontaneous. It tends to happen when i first start up the car(not necessarily when it is cold). Is this similar to yours at all?
It did not start to happen until I changed my trans fluid back to the lighter ATF vs MTF. I had heard somewhere that the trans fluid and the power steering fluid were one and the same, someone please tell me if that is correct.

It's possible one of the tires is rubbing? Check the inside wheel wells for scuff marks.

I use to have this problem with my old tires, but no longer does it happen.

you need to tighten the power steering belt, or put a new one on. I would just go and get a new one cause it probably should be changed.
