No Traction

Hello.

I have a problem. I have 1996 328is. My traction control light is on all the times. It happened after I turned the traction off for one burnout and since then can't turn it back on. I tried disconnecting the traction button and starting the car without it, but the light is still on saying that my traction is not turned on. I doubt that there is a problem with button itself, otherwise it would reset when you start the car.

What can be the problem how to fix it?

some malfucntions with the brakes can cause it to not function properly i belive.

Any ideas how to test it or fix? I believe it gets reading from rear ABS Sensors, but my ABS is working fine...
