Just a question, when you did this 1.8 to 2.5 engine swap, did you swap 1.8 ecu to a 2.5 ecu? They are different you know......Engine control units, control spark & fuel.....

yeah the whole loom came with it.ecu included. cant work it out buddy

Sounds silly, but did you check all your fuses....also what year is your 3 series?

Also do you have a Bentley Service manual......if not, it's a must.....it pay for itself after the 1st repair...

In the link below I would perform the ignition coil test for 6 cylinder engines on page 120-4....& then just for kicks I would check to see if you were getting fuel also by performing the test on page 130 -11 & injectors, checking....
