I just got my bimmer last week, : and i am gonna be replacing the speakers soon but the door panels have 3 1/2" speakers in them, i am not sure about how to go putting 5 1/4"s in because it dosent look like they will fit! any suggestions?

the speakers in the pic are your two tweeters. the front speaker are in the front kick panels. i think the front panel speakers are 5.25. i think any audio place will put in the speakers for ya. probably will have to drill a hole or just swap out the speakers in the front kick panels.

you got two tweeters on the door and speaker in the front panel and got two in the rear. i suggest just swaping out the front speaker instead of the rear. if you do have a sub the front is best. but if you don't got a sub then just swap the front or the rear. reason why for swapping out the front if you have a sub is cuz the rear sound is all for the bass and you don't want the bass to drone out ya sound.

The small is a 1" tweeter. The bigger is a 3.5" midrange. The biggest one that's hidden is a 5.25" full range. In the back there's a 4.5" Full range and a 1" tweeter.
