No air at front window??

Hi! i have bought a 318i touring -96 and i have discovered that i cant get the fan to blow at the front window, its is the digital panel on the car with AC.
does any one have a tip where to begin?

Well, I'm guessing you're talking about the defrosting vents. I'd start by making sure those ducts are properly attached to the air source inside the dash. Does the airflow from the foot and front vents?

do i reach them from the enginecompartment or from the inside?

against all odds, i found the problem! A three-pole connector on the backside of the control-panel was badly mounted by some DIY-clown ( i saw some bendmark from a screewdriver on the connector).
Now it works like a charm....
