Hello all, I am newish to the BMW scene. I have a good deal of experience with cars. Volvo and VW are my history. Anyhow, I am now in the market for a replacement car since my '98 Volvo V70 T5 had a wrist-pin go and leave me with a really nice car and no engine. It's a really strange happening since this is the first time that I have ever heard of a wrist pin failure in the T5 engine. I still have my Volvo 850 T5 with 264 whp, 230K miles and no issues!
Anyhow to get down to the asking part...I have the dealer that sold me the bad Volvo offering to put me into a 1997 BMW 323c. It's light green and is a manual. I've not seen the car yet but will likely tonight. Now I have been having a hard time finding any info about this model since it does not exist according to kbb.com and msn auto. Could you guys please shed some light on this for me. I would also be curious to know if there were any nasties I should look for in this model that seem to be common probs.
Thanks all in advance! I will have a few later on tonight to do my signature. I've got a bit of a colorful history with cars.
